Inspire HR battery losing charge fast

I have had my Inspire a little over a year now.  All of a sudden in the month or so, I need to charge it about every 24 hours.  Is this normal?  Is this Fitbit's way of telling me I need to purchase a new Fitbit?  This is very disappointing.
