Inspire HR battery not lasting

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hi, I really don't know what to do.  I bought my Fitbit  Inspire HR last July (2019), never had a problem with it until recently, May 5, 2020.  (NOT even a year old)   It used to hold a charge for days, now, it won't hold a charge for two to three hours!  I charge it in the wall socket and also by computer.  I cleaned the charger and the back of the Fitbit and even restarted it.  (several times)  I've looked through these topics and tried everything I could find.  Nothing works!  It syncs with my Apple Phone.  Can someone please help!

Hello @debholbe, welcome to the Community Forums! Sorry for the delay in responding your post.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for trying some troubleshooting steps before posting. Let me share with you that the battery of our Inspire HR was designed to last 5 days, but this also depends on how frequently you use all the features of your device. That said, I recommend you charging your Fitbit device with a USB port from a computer or a UL-certified outlet into the wall and then turn off all the features that you don’t use that much.

After following the above information, please check this help article for more tips and recommendations. This article includes as restart process that will refresh the device's performance.

Keep me posted, I’ll be right here if you need anything else.

Thank you RicardoFitbit for getting back to me.  I turned off alarms, reminders to move, exercise cues, auto pause, GPS is off, live data is disabled.  I also turned off sleep goals, receive sleep insights is off.  Notifications for email and phone are turned off. I do have- Main goals-steps, exercise goal -walk.  Sleep tracking is normal.  The clock face is the simple one. (the one that is on when you first turn on the Fitbit.)  I also resent my Fitbit.  I had a full charged battery at 8:42 am and it was drained by 11:56 am on 5/19/2020.

I was scrolling though my Fitbit and accidently deleted user data.  Now what do I do??

I’m having the same issue with my five month old device. I have made all the same recommended adjustments and continue to loose charge.

Same exact issue with a BRAND NEW InspireHR, just purchased to replace my aging Verda,   Add to that zero support, an essentially useless app, unresponsive and even at best extremely difficult to use screen.  Yeah, back in the box and back to Fitbit.  Going to explore their competition --  this will likely be my last purchase.  Could not be more disappointed in the product or company at this point.

I'm having the same problem and I've also followed all of these suggestions. It just died after one day.

I have followed all of these recommendations. I just pulled the Fitbit off the charger and it was at 100%- half hour later without pressing the button to turn the screen on and it's already dropped 8%. Screen is off, no alarm and limited apps pushing notifications. No notifications this morning to it since coming off of the charger.

I charged it twice to 100% today and it has died again. Does Fitbit plan on having any helpful suggestions on this or is the company fine with products malfunctioning after a year of moderate use? These products are $100. This is unacceptable.

RicardoFitbit, I have not heard back from you regarding my issue (Fitbit Inspire not holding a charge)

I did as you suggested and it still doesn't hold a charge.  Below is my response to your suggestion.     My Fitbit is useless!
