So I charged My Fitbit yesterday and within four hours the battery was drained and it completely shut off. I thought maybe I charged it wrong maybe it disconnected from the magnetic holder. So this morning againI charged it and checked to make sure it was 100% charged. But again within three hours the battery just drained and it shut off. Has anyone else experienced this?

thank you so much for responding and giving me the tips I followed your instructions and it didn’t help my Fitbit will not last when it’s charged. This time around I charged it it was 100% charge once I disconnected and I ran through everything you suggested it lasted less than an hour before shutting off on its own. I also made sure I turned off the heart monitor I turned off notifications and it’s just dying on me I don’t know why. I’ve only had it for about two years which I know to your sounds like a lot but I would imagine that the life expectancy of these devices is way more! This is my 3rd Fitbit, I have been a loyal customer having a Fitbit Charge, (which I lost), a Fitbit Charge 2 which I took swimming accidentally, and the Inspire which I was taking good care of and had never had an issue. I would normally charge it once a week battery life was amazing! And then all of a sudden last week it died within 4 hours... I charged it again thinking “maybe I didn’t really charge it maybe it disconnected from the magnetic charger,” this time I double checked to make sure it was 100% and again within 4 hours it died. I tried it again the next day within 3 hours it died. I tried all the steps you suggested ... fully charged it to 100% and in less than an hour it died.

Update:
Contacted customer support the ran a test and verified something indeed is wrong with my battery life since it went from 100% to 0% the same day.
it was out of warranty (I had it for about 2 years) they were able to offer me a 30% discount. Mother’s Day sales are happening I upgraded and ordered myself a Sense.
(I was “this” close to jumping over to the Apple Watch side but I love my Fitbit.
