My Inspire HR is about a year old. I noticed that it was difficult to connect the charging pins (have to fiddle with the device and cord to show charging). I clean the device according to recommendations. The dots where the two charging pins connect are missing bronze coating: only about 1/4 of the two outer dots that are supposed to touch the pins still have bronze coating. It is not just tarnish. The coating is gone. Can this be repaired or do I have to invest in a new tracker? I am concerned that it will soon not charge at all. I also have noticed slight tingling on my wrist at times, even when my tracker is not sending a haptic signal. Thanks for your advice.

I have the exact same problem. My Inspire HR is just over a year old (naturally outside the warranty period) and the contacts have begun to corrode to the point that it is very difficult to get it to charge anymore. I too have kept it clean using the directions FitBit provides. The price point prohibits me from treating it as disposable so I can't justify buying a new one each year since they don't last. I wish these were made to the same level of quality as previous models.

Hi. Just wondering if you found a solution for this? I have the exact same problem and all i have gotten from fitbit support is to clean the charging points.

I, too, have the same problem. Have cleaned the contacts as recommended, but only part of one of three contacts on my Inspire has any bronze, and it’s been 14 months since I purchased.

That's exactly the same problem I have. Only one of the three contacts is left and mine Inspire is about 14 months as well.

My Inspire HR is just over one year old & I have the same problem with difficulty charging & only one pin showing. Thought it was the charger & purchased new pair. Same problem trying to charge with new set.
Also, sleep tracker not working accurately. Some nights appear to be accurate; but who can telm when some nights show nothing - no sleep; some other nights inaccurate. For example, last night I want to sleep around 3 am, got up around 6 am & went to bathroom & went back to sleep. Tracker shows nothing until 6:07 am then started tracking. So totally unreliable.
