My inspire HR is clocking between 1500-2000 steps on a 20 minute road cycle, even though I have connected GPS and have set the exercise up, so why is it clocking steps knowing full well I'm cycling, its throwing my calories burned well out. I have it set to dominant on my non dominant wrist. I tried setting the activity to driving at the same time but this didnt really help as it removed any active minutes and all calories. Is there a way around this? Feel like it's a waste of money if the information is so far out.

Hi @Wjchapman Unfortunately there is no way around cycling 'steps'. Yes, the tracker knows you are cycling, but it doesnt have the 'intelligence' to work out 'therefore you wont be stepping'. The steps it counts are due to bumps which the tracker feels as steps. If it feels steps then it counts them. Just a fact of tracker life
