My fitbit battery died yesterday. No big deal, I set it up to charge. I got the smiley face, it came on, but it has been plugged in for hours. I even changed plugs and then plugged it into my computer. I cleaned the cable and the fitbit with rubbing alcohol and tried to reboot it. The battery still says 1%.
