Seems to track everything and syncs with Android 

 Will not show anything on screen except "nothing new here "". No clock. No steps. Nothing.  Started a month ago.

Try logging out from the app, restart your phone and log back in. Since you are on Android then try clearing the apps, cache data by going to Settings > apps > Fitbit. Finally if the issue persists uninstall the app and reinstall it.
