Inspire HR discharged overnight and won't charge after a swim

I went for a swim on Friday.  My Inpsire HR was over 50% charged then.

Overnight, it completely discharged and shut off.

I've done all the restarting, plugging in, cleaning of the pins yesterday (Saturday) over and over.

I left it in a bowl of rice overnight, put it back on the charger and still the same.  It just blinks at 1%, I never see the charging battery logo.
