Inspire HR display is fading and partially blank

My Inspire HR is 7 months old. The display is gone at the top of the screen and the rest of the display looks weak/fading. Is there anything that can fix this. I have restarted many times and changed the clock face.

The same thing with my Inspire HR. My son bought it for my birthday August last year. I tried resetting, charging, and changing the display and the top portion of screen does now show, unless I pull down the screen a little at a time with my finger.

Thank you.

I am having the same issue and just recieved my fitbit for mothers day, so it is barely been used a month.  Any help appreciated!  Thanks!

Same thing just start with my fitbit. I've only had this 7 months and have had constant issues with it freezing up not being able to swipe/scroll. Now the top of the display is increasingly fading from the top down and won't respond to tap or swipes even after multiple resets.

The reset worked for me (connecting it to its charger, holding the side
button for 5 seconds, releasing and the smiley face appears)

My Fitbit is no longer operational unless it is plugged in to charger. First it started fading the top portion of hours in simple time format; then it only showed the minutes and date; next it was 30 minutes behind time; now nothing. Even when charging it displays top of battery, cuts of a small portion then shows the rest of the battery. When fully charge it works for maybe 1 minutes then display shuts down, and no green light showing it’s on. August 2019 is when I received it  as a gift. I love my Fitbit.

My problem is slightly different: have only had my Fitbit for 3 months. Today, the display faded (time hardly legible) and froze at the same time - I can't scroll up or down, go into fitness, settings, anything.

Grateful if you could get back to me and let me know how to resolve this ASAP.

Thanks

Judith

I was unable to get my Fitbit to work after many attempts. I contacted FB customer service, tried one more restart attempt, but it did not work. They shipped me a new one.

Thank you.

Same problem with mine. I have had it for about 7 weeks, don't wear it in water, don't wear it to bed (previous ones kept restarting while I was asleep because the button was pushed). Started with a frozen screen, and now the display is faded completely through the middle and almost totally unable to read on the bottom.

My issue is somewhat similar to theJudithWinter's.

Last night my display went static.  It still keeps time and shows a static heart rate, but it will not scroll, will not show charge level when the button is pushed and held, will not go into charging mode when put on the charger, and will not reset.

OK, it's working fine as of this evening.  Weird.

The same with my Inspire which was bought in June. Working fine this morning and now face has faded and can't change screens.

Same here.  I noticed it just a few days ago and now three of the five lines of the watch are affected.   The restart to smiley face did not help.  Are there other solutions to try?

Will there be potential solutions posted for the rest of us with the same issue, or will we be contacted?  Thanks.

My issue is the same as the people above. - display is about 1/3 gone. Some days it will allow me to tap or swipe and it works but much of the time is nonresponsive. Syncs pretty normally.  I have reset it x 3 - got my smiley faces but no change in the display

Wish I’d googled this recurring issue sooner! It’s a relief and also frustrating to see how many of us with Inspire HR devices have been experiencing the faded numbers, performing resets & dealing with frozen screens. While I’ve been manually resetting my device multiple times/wk for a couple months now due to frozen screen, this fun new aspect of 90% faded numbers renders the device to nothing more than a cute accelerometer which gives me an acute tan line as if I was participating in a research study and purely providing someone else with my data. Time to break down and contact customer service for yet another Fitbit device that hasn’t endured….

Same for me...I have no numbers lit up for the minutes and the hour is so faded I can only make out the numbers in the dark at night.  Help!!  Not much use as a watch when the numbers are so faint they are impossible to read. I have been struggling with this for months and have trouble shot like the others with no improvement or change.  My fitbit is slightly more than a year old.
