Inspire HR display not working

Just set up my new inspire hr. Got to the part where it tells you to try it on. Then nothing but a straight thin white line across the black screen. Doesn't swipe. No click showing. Nothing!!!

Thankyou for your reply. I have sorted the problem. It would seem, the thin white line was there to show the progress of the download, which for some reason didn't happen. I checked my internet connection etc and everything was connected to my phone but the information just hadn't downloaded, so I started the process again, et voila! I watched the thin white line slowly change to a thick white line and all is well. Happy tracking!! 😊

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for the details that were shared in your post. To fix this uncommon situation, I recommend you to restart your Inspire HR following the next steps:

 

  1. Plug the charging cable into the USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
  2. Hold the other end of the charging cable near the port on the back of the tracker until it attaches magnetically. The pins on the charging cable must connect securely with the port.
  3. Press and hold the button on your tracker for 5 seconds.
  4. Release the button. When you see a smile icon and the tracker vibrates, the tracker restarted.

I have the same problem. I cannot reset. Nothing happens when I hold down the button. The fitbit is unresponsive to swiping, tapping or button pushing. It shows the charge level when I connect with usb and otherwise a horizontal white line. I have removed and added the device to my account 3 times. My account says it is synced. I am using windows 10.
