My Fitbit does not automatically sync to the Fitbit app. I have to go to the app and open it for it to sync. I have an iphone

Before considering other options, could you please check all the requirements and confirm if you already tried all the steps listed here to resolve syncing problems? In addition, make sure to check the compatibility requirements listed here and to keep the Fitbit app updated to the latest version available.
You should be able to sync your data automatically when you open the Fitbit app.
