Inspire HR doesn't sync nor holds charge

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

This is the 4th or 5th fitbit I have owned over the years (Inspire HR) and it is awful.  It synced for about a month and now i spend hours every month trying to make it sync to something iPAD/IPhone etc.  To top it off it doesn't hold a charge for more than 2-3 days.

I've been through every forum - every troubleshooting tip - nothing has worked repeatedly and now the charging issue.  Is this a defective product?

@suzswe It's great to have you here!

Let me help you with your Inspire HR not syncing nor holding a charge and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. Since you don't specify what you have tried I suggest you do the following:

  1. Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  2. Restart your phone and restart your device
  3. Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
  4. You can find troubleshooting instructions here.

Regarding the battery life you can try cleaning the contacts using cotton swab with rubbing alcohol, then charge it by plugging it for a couple of hours directly to your computer's USB port (try different ports) or use an UL-certified USB adapter. After this, restart your device and see how it behaves. You can follow these instructions to help improve the battery life.

Let me know how it goes.
