Inspire HR doesn't track stairs

I bought my Inspire HR last month and it doesn't count stairs. I probably climb an average of 10 flights a day and it hasn't recorded one flight since I bought it. Is this a known issue or is my Inspire defective?

The Inspire series do not count floors climbed.  It does not have the altimeter so it would not even be possible to add via firmware.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
