Hello @Dragonmom1 and a warm welcome. Your Inspire HR hold more than one exercise in the Exercise app and you swipe to go through the list. Run is the default first exercise in the app. It sounds like you need to customize your exercises to put Walk first.
Tap on your profile picture > Inspire HR > scroll down to Exercise shortcuts. If you just want to put Walk first on your list, tap on the Edit and you can drag Walk to the top. The Inspire HR has more exercises you can track than those that are preloaded. If you tap on the + Exercise Shortcut, you can see the other exercises. You can customize it to your preferences.

Hi, @Dragonmom1 , you can edit the exercises on your Inspire via your app.
Go to your app, choose your account icon (that’s the picture in the top left of the first screen) and on your Inspire HR screen scroll down to “exercise shortcuts”. You are allowed 6 of these loaded on to your screen, so if you already have 6 you will need to delete one. Follow the instructions on the screen, or if this is at all unclear let us know which OS you use for your phone - Apple, Android or Windows and someone can give you more step by step info.
Once you have deleted an exercise you don’t use, you can add in walk if you want.
You might also like to know(if you aren’t aware) that your Fitbit can automatically recognize your walk, and you don’t need to add it or start or stop your activity or do anything to have it recorded. This is something that Fitbit is really good at!
On your Fitbit app, choose your account icon (top left, as before), and on the next screen go to goals. Under goals you will see “Exercise”. Select that. There you will find a list of automatically recognized activities. Choose “walk” and on the next screen you can decide how long a walk it needs to be before it is logged in your app as an exercise (the minimum is 10minutes).
After that, there is no need to do anything. Your walks will be logged automatically. The only disadvantage to this is you will not get a distance calculation (which you will get if you “manually” track your walk by using your exercise shortcuts.
I hope this makes sense! There is quite a lot to discover about your Fitbit, so please post again if anything is unclear.

Hi, @Dragonmom1 , you will need to sync your Inspire and then it should show up. If you go to the app and click on the icon for your Fitbit it will show the time and date of the last sync.
