Inspire HR firmware update and connection issues

I've just unboxed my Inspire HR, i first put it in charge. I then downloaded the app, run it, paired the device, and i started the suggested update. Bluetooth on, no other devices connnected, internet connection on. The download started, so i left the phone and the device very close to each other and went away. When i got back i saw a message saying that something went wrong. And since then i could not see any device connection, and the device is showing the words www.bitbit.com/setup and a logo.

I tried to restart the device and it seemed to restart (i've seen a sort of smile) but nothing changed, i can't operate the device and i can't see it in my bluetooth device list, even after i shut down bluetooth and switched it on again, same i did with the app.

Hi @luigiscu, welcome to our Fitbit Community. I'm sorry to hear that your Inspire HR didn't finish the firmware update and now it won't connect with your phone. I totally understand how you feel about this and I appreciate the time spent trying to get this issue resolved before contacting our forums.

 

Please forget the Inspire HR from your phone's Bluetooth list. After this, try setting up your Fitbit device from scratch as instructed in this help article.

 

In case the firmware update issue persists, please follow the steps that are listed in this help article and run the update again.

i have tried all but the problem has not been solved, i have returned the device and i've purchased another one
