Inspire HR firmware update won't complete

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hello,

I tried to update my inspire HR for many times. I noticed the tips concerning non-functional updates on the website and started everything new, got my devices charged, and so on. Nothing helped.

Either the process of updating doesn't even start or it's running for about 25 minutes and then the Inspire shows a circle with a cross.

Has anyone an idea? I'm upset about all the time I've lost trying it over and over again.

Thank you so much!

Hi @Kapre, it's great to see you in our Fitbit Community. I'm sorry to hear that your Inspire HR doesn't complete the firmware update. By the way, thank you for trying to get this issue resolved before contacting our forums.

I'd like you to try the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article. After this, run the firmware update again and see if the update gets completed.

Keep me posted on the outcome.

I've given up trying to update the firmware.  It is not working properly and I have wasted too much time  trying to get it to work.

Hi @HealthyGirl2014, thank you for joining us in this thread. I'm sorry to hear that the your Inspire HR is still unable to complete the firmware update.

In order to avoid any confusion on my end, please let me know if you tried the steps that I shared in my previous post. If you already tried them, I'd like you to restart your Inspire HR as described in this help article. After this, try the steps listed in my previous post again and see if the firmware update finishes.

Let me know how it goes.

Yes.  I did all those steps and it still is on Version 34.20001.63.5.  It appears to be something wrong with the update.  This should be way easier.  I have spent over 5 hours trying to get this to work and it is a total waste of time.
