Inspire HR first time charging issue

Just received my new Fitbit Inspire HR and started charging it for the first time before I pair it with my phone. It was at 15% when I started charging, and I'm still at 47% after 3 hours (I used my laptop for charging & made sure the device was connected to the charger properly the whole time.) It literally took over 20 mins to reach 45% from 44%. 

 

Is this normal for first time charging right out of the box? I thought a standard full charge would only take up to 2 hours.

Hello @regielin, welcome to the Fitbit community! From my experience with the inspire HR, no, it isn't normal. If you have a USB port somewhere, try plugging it into that. That's what I normally do and it works perfectly.
