Both of my daughters received inspire HRs for Christmas. They have MacBook pros, and older iPad minis on iOS9 something.
Can they use and sync these things or are they useless and will need to be returned? They can't get the app on their iPad's as it said it required iOS11. That seriously passed me off, but I'm curious if they can use it in their MacBook s.
I'm not impressed with Fitbit if you can't just use any computer to sync. I'm not wanting to buy my 9 year old a phone because they got a Fitbit.

I'm not familiar with use with iOS, but regardless of the computer, the only way someone under 13 years can use a Fitbit is in a family account which only allows Ace or Ace 2.

The family account can only be accessed through a phone.

Yes which is why I lied on their ages when I made their accounts.
The kids fitbit is too childish. they had NO interest in that.
Its just a shame that you seem to be pushing people to use phones for eveyrthing and not giving an option for a basic computer setup.
ive been tryingto get this to work with my windows 10 PC and it is absolutly horrible. Account is on here, her fit bit is not recognized.
