Hi @PoorJohn, welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'd like to follow up and help you with your Inspire HR since the screen is frozen and it won't swipe.
Please restart your Inspire HR as described in this help article. After this, monitor your Fitbit device and see if the issue gets fixed.

I have the same issue can’t touch the app screen to update or accept challenges i can on iPad but not on iPhone
