My fit bit is 6 hours ahead of the correct time. How do I correct it?

You can't manually set the time, but it should reset itself whenever it syncs to your phone based on the time on that device. Does your fitbit seem to be syncing ok?
The other thing that affects the time is the time zone in your profile. You can check yours at https://www.fitbit.com/settings/profile If you do change it then you'll need to sync again to update your fitbit.

I'm not able to sync it either. It talks me the last time was in early October.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Ric4. It's nice to see you around, @SteveH.
@SteveH Thank you for your support!
@Ric4 I am sorry to hear your Inspire HR is showing incorrect time and won't sync. Thanks for trying to resolve this, I appreciate the additional details and I am here to help. Time on your device should be corrected when you sync it. Please follow the troubleshooting instructions to resolve the syncing issue at Why won't my Fitbit device sync?
Let me know how it goes.

This happened to me as well and mine was brand new. I contacted Fitbit chat after trying everything the manual and this forum suggested and the guy I spoke to was very helpful. In the end he sent me a new tracker and I’ve had no problems with it. It’s very frustrating when the clock doesn’t work. Hope you get sorted.

I did resolve my issue by unpairing

Thanks for your help.
