Hi, I hope you can help. I have been an Inspire HR user for a couple of years. Today it has suddenly stopped monitoring heart rate. I have tried restarting my device and also checked the app is set yo HR 'On'. There is no green light flashing. Is this broken? Help - I love my Fitbit! - I'm lost without it.

No, nothing on there has helped. I guess my HR monitor LED has finally stopped working. (There's no flashing green light.) I will need to contact support I reckon.

I was going to contact Support for help but in the end decided that it was probably about time to upgrade my Fitbit. It was past its 2 year warranty period anyway and actually the third pebble in the series as the button wore out on the others and they stopped working. I figured an LED repair (which I'm pretty certain it needed) would be costly and even then it might not last too much longer (from previous experience.) I am currently installing and updating my new Inspire 2, which arrived today.
Does Fitbit have a recycling facility for returning damaged but repairable devices, which could then be sold on for charity - or something like that?

I appreciate the update and thank you for sharing your concern. I hope you continue enjoying the Fitbit experience and working on your goals. You can find more information about your new tracker in How do I get started with Fitbit Inspire 2? Regarding your concern, I suggest recycling your device at a local electronics recycling facility.
