Inspire HR hasn’t tracked sleep

Hi, 

my nans recently purchased a inspire HR but we’ve noticed on the app it’s completly different to my app and also it’s not tracked her sleep at all dosent even give us the option to do so on the app. Which is annoying as this was one of the main reasons she purchased. Please help otherwise we will return

@LucyRobbins Welcome to the Community. 

Let me help you with your nan's tracker not recording sleep. This is odd as you mention that it shows completely different on her app. Could you share a screenshot of both apps? This would help me better understand this issue. It could be that she is getting simplified sleep. This means that she isn't getting sleep stages and you may not get them for the following reasons:

  • If you slept in a position that prevented your device from getting a consistent heart-rate reading or wore it too loosely. For best results, wear your device higher on your wrist (about 2-3 finger widths above your wrist bone). The band should feel secure but not too tight.
  • If you used the Begin Sleep Now option in the Fitbit app (instead of simply wearing your device to bed). For more information on automatic sleep tracking, see How do I track my sleep with my Fitbit device?
  • If you slept for less than 3 hours.
  • If your device’s battery is critically low.

Hi, 

her app does not even show a sleep option even though the watch we brought says it does. Which is one of the main reasons we got it.

Were you able to take a screenshot? As mentioned before the more information I have the better I will be able to assist you. A screenshot will let me know what may be the issue. If her app doesn't show these options it could mean that the tracker isn't paired to her account so make sure these instructions were followed.
