Inspire HR heart rate monitor extremely inaccurate

Hi,

I just bought a FitBit Inspire HR for the sole purpose of tracking my heart rate on bike rides.  I've found that the heart rate monitor is widely inaccurate no matter what I do.  I've looked through your guides, and have already played around with strap tightness and location my wrist to absolutely no avail.  For reference, on my bike ride just now, there was a point where I manually measured my heart rate with a stop watch at 180, and my FitBit was reading 89 BPM.

@bchenry It's great to see that you've visited the Fitbit Community! Sorry for the delay in my reply.

Let me help you with your Inspire HR heart rate sensor not showing the correct readings and thank you for checking our wearing tips. I suggest you clean the back of your device with cotton and rubbing alcohol and restart it. Turn the heart rate off, save and sync then turn it on save and sync again. Also check these tips to improve the heart rate reading on your device.

Let me know how it goes.
