Inspire HR hourly move reminder not effective

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I bought my first Fitbit...the Inspire HR.

Due to my busy lifestyle, i am constantly missing the hourly reminders to MOVE which is one of the main reasons i bought a fitbit.

When not walking the required 250 steps per hour the fitbit displays message on screen (which i always miss) + sooo sad the devise reminder vibration intensity is soooo weak/subtle that i do not notice it more than 90% of the time = i do not move enough each hour!!

PLEASE someone tell me there is a way to increase vibration intensity or duration of the vibration...or does the devise give strong audio alert...or anything that will alert and get my attention to notice the alert.

If no solution then i need to find another fitness tracker that has   hourly strong intensity alerts to move which i can actually notice.

Hope there is a solution for this....if not can anyone PLEASE suggest a good fitness tracker which is slim/small size (i love the Inspire HR small slim size) which gives strong intensity vibration and/or audio reminders to move each hour when i have not moved enough....this feature is very important to me and my health.

Thanks.

Maybe it is too loose on your wrist? I find the vibration on mine very noticeable and sometimes distracting at the worst times!

Just got my Fitbit Inspire HR today to replace my Charge 2. Have had it on for several hours and have not noticed any vibration for reminders to move. Have it set for every hour during the day. Very disappointing. My Charge 2 reminders were very intermittent, so was looking forward to my new Inspire.

Re: my previous post - after deleting & reinstalling the app, I started getting the notifications/vibrations for Reminders to Move. However, the vibrations are way to low - if I even get them. They are very intermittent.  I had this problem with my previous Charge 2 and was really expecting that this issue would have been corrected by now.

I had the STRIIV Bio2 and the vibration and font size was excellent.  HOWEVER, the tracker fell out of the band over time as the band got older.   I switched to fitbit - but now I can barely read the font on the device and the vibration is almost unnoticeable.

You prefer the fitbit or the Bio2 for sedentary alerts and for other features?

I had the Charge 2 and was really happy with it. I "upgraded" to the Inspire HR and have had nothing but trouble. The notifications don't work a lot of the time. It has crashed so many times. There is no reminder to recharge the battery. I am now trying the upgrade and put the tracker on top of my phone because it said put close to the phone - it couldn't find it. I have reset it and unpaired from my phone - still no success. Now i am trying to uninstall the app and that is not working either. Completely fed up with Fitbit!

Oof, same boat here. I really liked my last fitbit and the Inspire 2 is nothing but trouble. Do not disturb turns on by itself, notifications are too subtle- not pleased 😞

I really like the Fitbit Inspire 2 - alot to like - BUT I agree, the reminder to move is way too subtle and this is an imp't functionality.  I did set the maximum number of alarms - I believe the limit is six - and that vibrates plenty loud enough.  Would ask for two welcome amendments - 1.  Make the "Reminder to Move" alarm almost as loud as our personal alarms and 2. allow us to set as many alarms as we want (why limit us to six?). Especially when the battery life is so good.

I prefer Fitbit Inspire 2, for me, it is the best, and as I see for some people on this workplace site here too.

I totally agree, the vibration is so imperceptible that it is pretty useless.  Why can’t this be fixed???
