Inspire HR inaccurate sleep data

I’ve noticed an inaccuracy in the mathematics used to calculate sleep stage time/duration on my Inspire HR. I’ve taken two screenshots to highlight the issue.

In the first I had the bulk of my nights sleep and you can see the totals for Awake, REM, Light and Deep stages.  Notice that my period of Deep was 49 minutes

In the second screenshot after I had gone back to bed for a couple hours the total or aggregated times are shown.  As you would expect these are now longer than the original stage times apart from the Deep stage time which has now reduced from 49 minutes to 33 minutes.

Initial sleep period - screenshot 1

Additional period of extra sleep - screenshot 2

How can this be correct. At the very least my total Deep stage time should remain the same as in my first sleep period. It should then possibly increase if I had entered Deep sleep in my second sleep period (first +second) or remain static but should not decrease.
