Inspire HR intermittent heart rate registering

I’ve had my Inspire HR for 1.5 years now and after Sunday (big day in the pool) the heart rate function is only working intermittently during the day. It means it’s not registering my sleep and can’t tell me my resting heart rate. I’m not wearing it any differently.

 

I have since cleaned the sensors, cleared user data, turned it on and off and resynced it with the app. Is there anything else I can do or is it on the way out?
