My clock is loosing minutes. What is causing this and how do I correct it? Currently my Inspire HR is at 78% charge.

Although, this issue may be caused by a syncing issue and not a battery issue. Please try the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article. After this, monitor your Inspire HR and see if the issue gets fixed.
