So recently my Inspire HR stopped reading my heart rate.
I reset it, I checked to see if its tracking my heart rate (it says its on to track under settings)...
The back doesn't show the green flashy lights when its off my wrist anymore...
Not sure what happened but I did start to go swimming these last few days and when I bought the Inspire HR it said it was allowed to go into a pool, the whole reason I got it!
whats the deal!?

Thanks for sharing the inquiry regarding Inspire HR and for attempting to fix it trough the restart.
I recommend that you try restarting the device again following the tips suggested here.
In addition, please follow the instructions in this article to improve the accuracy of heart rate information and check the information mentioned here about other factors that could affect your heart rate reading, this has been useful to other users who have experienced something similar.

I still have no luck after restarting it a 2nd time, the little green lights that flash on the back when I take it off my wrist are still not flashing.
it's still not tracking my heart rate at all!
like not reading it what so ever
reason I have been trying the restart it now twice
like say I been swimming with it every day since Friday and I noticed on my desktop app that it hasn't been reading my heart rate since then.
Inspire HR when I bought it said it was allowed in pools and showers that it was water proof and would track swimming workouts.
So what is the deal!?
EDIT - It's not even tracking my sleep now correctly! Its just giving me a blank screen instead of my sleep stages!!!!!!!!!!!!

@ManuFitbit to include with my other reply above I took a screen cap to show you that its still not working after many resets!
The heart rate was from LAST WEEK, and nothing since this past Saturday... Sleep started getting all jacked up to around the same time!

Please, turn off the heart rate and sync.
Then, turn on it again and sync one more time.

@ManuFitbit Nope, nothing, Nata, tried a few times.
Like say the green flashy light that is normally flashing on the underside of the fitbit when you take it off your wrist, isn't even flashing anymore.
So I am highly disappointed that something that was advertised and said it could be used in water for swimming isn't the case here.
Because that is when it started to mess up was the day I went to the pool
This is highly disappointing with something I spent so much on!
I use it for everything and it helped me lose over 200 pounds of weight without surgery, still have more to go!
I also use it to track everything for work programs we get points on.
I don't wanna spend another $100+ on a new one just for the same thing to happen!
I had to start swimming because I have deteriorating tissue in my spine + sciatica I can't do regular workouts anymore 😞
This really sucks!
Edit - 9/4 - I noticed the battery life is now failing as well... I charged it on 9/2 to 100% and now its down to 20% on 9/4... advertised as a 5 day battery life... I call bull on that... I am highly disappointed yet again after spending so much you think something would hold up to what it was advertised to do and not fail.

Have you checked your settings to see if the device went into water lock mode? It said in my manual that it will usually auto detect water and go into water lock mode when swimming. It also said that this can effect the heart rate sensor. I hope that, this fixes your issue, figured it was at least worth a try.
Nothing worse then not having answers and getting the help you need from the people who are supposed to find them.

I have a inspire ONE not 2 or 3, mine is first generation and I don't have that option on my watch

I’m sorry, but there is no way to sync with a computer. If you have access to a wireless network, you can use a wi-fi iPad or Android tablet, as long as it meets the minimum requirements.

@ManuFitbit Look... I ordered the inspire3 over the weekend since I didn't hear from you here or support when I emailed them on the weekend.
This bums me out.
My best friend offered me her tablet to try to sync up my Fitbit with it, it's a Kindle Fire, not sure about the OS or whatever or how new it is because I am not familiar with them.
Guess we will find out
I know the desktop app for Windows offers an Inspire 3 to be hooked up to it because it's on the list of fitbits to attach to the account, wondering if coming to the fitbit website I could sync to here on my dashboard and get my numbers that way... I am trying to explore all things here
Years ago when I bought this fitbit for the first time I was told by fitbit customer service "ya you can sync to Windows with a dongle and the app" I had 8 diff people tell me that from Fitbit because I wanted to be sure before spending a hundred dollars!
At the time I was on Windows 7 and you couldn't so I had to return the fitbit, then not even 6 months later I had to update to Windows 10 and found out you COULD sync and get an app so I re-ordered a fitbit, talk about frustrating!
Even more frustrating is this fitbit is advertised to be able to go in 50 meters of water, which wasn't the case, The newer fitbits are the same way,I made sure to get the protection plan again just in case.
Guess I am probably not gonna get another answer for a few more days and by then my Fitbit will be here by then, guess ill just have to find out on my own.
Worse comes to worse I guess I will return it and knowing my luck in a year or two you guys will have another desktop app that is compatible and ill have to get another one then but without the offer I had to get this one or I'll just try to find another device...
As I say to every company that is expecting people to have fancy phones, not all of us have them!
I have a landline and I work from home I don't need a fancy cell phone. Landlines are way cheaper.

Okay update! @ManuFitbit
I got my Inspire HR3 today.
it let me set up on the desktop app but of course it doesn't work
we knew that
But as soon as I disconnected my Inspire HR from my computer (which was never mentioned once to do this when we were trouble shooting)
I flipped my HR over and the green light was flashing again...... o_o !!!!!!!
So I placed it on my wrist and now its working again!
So yay me for figuring it out!
But now I'm stuck with a Inspire 3 I have no use for because I don't have a fancy cell phone
Maybe ill see if a friend wants it if not I will be returning it!
