Every Friday night my Inspired HR logs an increasingly large number of steps between 2:45 and 3 am while I am sleeping. Last night it was about 80,000 steps, last week was about 54,000. This has been going on for about 2 months.
I restarted it last week based on similar question replies. I don't feel like this is a sensitivity issue because it's always the same day and no other days. Of note this is close to the same time my phone automatically restarts each week - although I don't see how it could be related.

I appreciate the troubleshooting performed prior to posting. I'd like you to let me know if MobileTrack is paired to your account, this is a feature that records basic stats such as steps using your phone's sensors if you have a Fitbit device available. If there was a fan or anything buzzing nearby, or if your phone was vibrating, that might have caused you to get incorrect steps during that time.
If this is the case, try the following:
