Inspire HR losing connection with phone with Connected GPS

My Inspire HR keeps loosing connection with the phone while exercising. This is very annoying because it means loosing the GPS signal.

I read all the article and verified that everything is correct.

it is a bit better if I keep the phone in the hand where the Fitbit is.
I tried two different phones (Huawei P10 and Samsung Galaxy A5) both with Android version higher than the minimum requirements.

when it disconnects, Fitbit vibrates and in the bottom left of the display next to the exercise time, it shows a rectangle (phone?) with an x inside. To reconnect I need to open the Fitbit app on the phone and scroll down to force the sync.
of course while cycling this is impossible to perform.
Thanks for your help.

@sjoe_65 Thanks for stopping by!

Let me help you with your Inspire HR losing connection with your phone while using the Connected GPS feature and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. I suggest you try clearing the link between your phone and your tracker by doing the following:

  1. Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  2. Restart your phone and restart your device
  3. Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
  4. Also, on an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
  5. You can find troubleshooting instructions here.

Let me know how it goes.
