My inspire hr will show I have 10k steps on my watch, but then I'll be down to 8k on my watch and app when I sync. I also charge and it will lose charge fairly quickly up until 30% then it's slow (like within 2 days). It has also been counting sleep as me just sitting down for more than 30 minutes and that's highly annoying and confusing.

Please try restarting your tracker to help with the decreasing steps amount issue. You can follow these instructions to help improve the battery life. Finally your device will start recording sleep after it detects an hour of inactivity. If you have a light sleep or move too much then this may difficult your sleep detection. The opposite might be true also as inactivity from watching TV or a movie may lead to sleep detection. You can try wearing your device on your dominant hand to increase the amount of movement it is subjected to. Finally you can restart your device. You can also manually log your sleep time.
