Inspire HR lost steps during firmware update

I updated my inspire HR tonight while I was walking- it did not count any steps while updating/walking even though it acted like I could continue doing whatever- and then when the update completed my steps were less than before I started updating- Ugh So now I’m back to not having reached my goal- you would think after all this time I would learn not to update as I have never once did an update without issues...

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and sharing that your Inspire HR did not count any steps during the update process and your steps were less after the update completed. I totally understand how you are feeling and appreciate your feedback. Our team is always working on improving our devices and user experiences, and your comments are always welcome. You can manually log an activity so the lost steps can be added to the day's total by following the steps from this help article: How do I add, edit, or delete Fitbit data and activities?
