My Inspire HR will not sync, keeps saying Sync Failed, has not synced since September 1st.
Update: It can be forced to sync only if I unpair and reinstall everything from scratch, which I really am not keen on doing every day.
This got far worse when the update was rolled out that added Notifications to the tracke.r
Will not sync to Android mobile app on smartphone or to Google Play install on Chromebook. I have tried restarting the device and app numerous times, restarting Bluetooth and all troubleshooting steps.
Failing more and more often every week. Is my device dying?? It is almost a year old and I did not get any option for a warranty.

Hi @SunsetRunner, welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm sorry to hear that your Inspire HR is not syncing with your phone or Chromebook properly. By the way, thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums.
I'd like you to try the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article. This article contains steps that you already tried but you can skip them and proceed with the rest. After this, monitor your Fitbit device again and see if the issue gets fixed.
Regarding your concern, the warranty period is good for 365 days, starting from the date of the first setup. Please check out this page for more information.
Keep me posted on the outcome.
