Inspire HR not accurately recording kms

Hi, my Fitbit Inspire HR is not accurately recording my runs, I did one recently that was 2.4kms but recorded as 1.4kms. I did another that was 5kms, but recorded as 3.6kms. Any ideas why??

Let me help you with your distance recording with your Inspire HR. Your device uses the number of steps and stride length to calculate the distance. You can improve the accuracy by measuring and logging your stride length. Feel free to use these instructions to do this.

I am having the same problem. One screen is showing a total of just under 14 kms biking but my main dashboard is only showing 5.16 kms.
