Inspire HR not an option on the app and macbook

I downloaded the fitbit app for macbook from fitbit.com website to set up my new fitbit. Many model options are there, but no Inspire HR. Then i loaded the app on my iPhone, but now it looks like I need a Lightning to USB adaptor to get to the next step. Does that make sense?

Hello @edufit and welcome to the Help forums.  I'm sorry, but you can't set up your Inspire HR on a MacBook.  You need a compatible smartphone/tablet/Windows 10 PC.  I apologize if I misunderstand what you are saying.  It sounds like you think you plug the cable into your phone to set it up.  You plug the cable into a power source like a USB wall plug or a USB port on your MacBook.  You want to have your device charging while you set it up.  The setup uses Bluetooth.

Does this help?
