Inspire HR not auto tracking

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I recently ungraded from Alta to Inspire HR and it is not auto-tracking my workouts. I never had this issue with my Alta. I’ve checked out the manual and couldn’t shed any light. Is there something in the settings that I’m missing? Thanks!

After receiving my inspire hr I switched over from iPhone to android. It took almost a month for it to switch over on it's own. I was signed in on my android and my inspire hr tracked nothing, then after about a month it just started tracking my sleep again on it's own. I rarely get the text or call alerts, its choosy with those too. Neither the original or the replacement ever tracked an active minute. Its shameful this product, including its replacement never worked the way it was supposed to.

That sounds about right. My inspire hr has never worked the way it should since day 1. The replacement the same. After the second one, I'm officially giving up. The company has not contacted me about the second faulty product they sent me, and lesson learned. Good luck to you.

I agree with you... I’ve pretty much given up on Fitbit as well and it is a shame they made such a downgrade to the product? #bringbackmyalta

Mine is broken too — it won’t auto track.  Back to the store.  Going to get a replacement Alta HR from EBay.  Way to go Fitbit!

I am still getting the same robotic answers from fitbit about this. There is a definite deign flaw compared to their old trackers. This is certainly not an “upgrade” in my book. They seem to know they have a problem, and want to keep telling people to disable all other Bluetooth devices, update the app, and keep dealing with it. I think they are deliberately trying to make people so frustrated that they give up on contacting support.

I had to restart my ipad twice, and also turn Bluetooth off and back on twice last night, before I finally got my data to sync to the app.

Mine does not auto record any exercise. Well it did record a 22 minute walk when I was driving in a car...

I should specify it is an Inspire HR, which I purchased for features that do not work properly. I also have a Fitbit scale which has been impossible to sync. My “upgrade” has been anything but.

I did exactly the same change of fitbit to inspire and have exactly the same problem.

When adding our exercise manually how are we supposed to know how many calories were burned during the exercise?
