Inspire HR not logging sleep

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

It logged Friday night, the first night I wore it to bed. It hasn't logged any nights since, though. There's no sleep data collected whatsoever. I went to the page about getting a better analysis for a Sleep Score. I tried those tips, and nothing changed. I have all the right settings otherwise! Help please!

I have the same problem. Worked fine from early March and suddenly stopped tracking things like sleep and time spent stationary or active. I have followed all available tips, including rebooting my device but still nothing.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @NoveTheGreat and @LouLouOtis. I'll be glad to assist with your sleep record inquiry.

Since your Inspire HR isn't registering your sleep, I recommend trying the following:

  1. Manually sync the tracker. See instructions in How do Fitbit devices sync their data?
  2. Restart the tracker. See instructions in How do I restart my Fitbit device?
  3. Try sleeping with the tracker on your non-dominant hand.
  4. If steps 1-3 don't work, I suggest manually logging your sleep to reflect the time slept. See instructions in How do I change my sleep history?

If your trackers are registering your sleep but not providing you with sleep stages, take into consideration the steps in the help article Why don't I see sleep stages today?. I also suggest checking if your Fitbit app is updated.

Let me know the outcome.

Hi. I have tried steps 1 and 2 again. I had already done both of these prior to logging the problem. I have erratic sleep patterns and tracking the time I spend asleep, restless or awake is a very important feature for me. I have previously tried to manually start the sleep tracker when I go to bed but it just logs sleep as if I have been asleep from when I started the tracker manually and then stopped it. This is an unsatisfactory solution to the fault on my device when I know I have been awake several times during the night, sometimes for prolonged periods. It also does not track time spent stationary or active, which might suggest a fault with the sensor which normally tracks all these things. In my view the device needs to be repaired or replaced. Can you advise how I would proceed please?

I already sleep with it on my non-dominant hand. Should I try swapping to my dominant?
