Inspire HR not mapping a route

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hi,

My inspire hr stopped mapping the routes. GPS is on and yet no map appears after a workout. The location access for the app is allowed as well. I have restarted the phone and the fitbit itself,  and uninstalled and reinstalled the app and nothing has worked. Not sure what to do next. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Hi @Z15, it's great to see you in our Fitbit Community. Regarding the GPS map tracking issue that your Inspire HR has experienced, I appreciate the time spent trying to get it resolved before contacting our forums.

In order to avoid providing the same information, let me know if you restarted your Inspire HR as described in this help article. In the meantime, I'd like to share this help page, which explains how the GPS feature works on your Fitbit device and it also contains some troubleshooting steps at the bottom of the page for you to try.

Finally, monitor your Inspire HR during your workouts and see if it provides GPS data and map routes properly.

Keep me posted on the outcome.

Hi,

Thanks for these suggestions. I have tried them all and the map is still not showing up when I exercise. Not sure what else I can do at this point. It is very disappointing because I like the mapping feature. Any other potential solutions? Thanks!!!

Go into your phone settings then go to your apps. When you pull up Fitbit look at the permissions. I was having the same problem on my new Android phone. Anyhow fitbit "app permissions" click your location and see how it is set. I originally had it set for allow only when using the app. I changed it to allow all the time. I just used it and now it maps my route. Hope this helps. 🙂
