Inspire HR not reading heart rate, distance not being calculated and missing data

I walked 6 miles this morning and tracked it through the app like I always do. When I finished it said there wasn’t enough data. It gave me no information when I clicked on that exercise. On my dashboard it showed 4.6 miles for the whole day but I had just finished a 6 mile walk. My hr hasn’t computed during my workouts since last July. I have spoken with numerous reps, online and on the phone and no one has been able to fix my issues. I was even sent a replacement watch and it doesn’t calculate my hr during workouts. I’m really fed up! Can someone at least help me with my issue from today?

@gsoozi It's great to see that you've visited the Fitbit Community! Sorry for the delay in my reply.

Let me help you with your the issues you are having with your Inspire HR. The error message about not enough data you are seeing is a known issue that is currently being investigated by the team.

Regarding the distance, your device uses the number of steps and stride length to calculate the distance. You can improve the accuracy by measuring and logging your stride length. Feel free to use these instructions to do this.

Finally regarding your heart rate not being detected during workouts. The sweat and movement may cause the sensor to either be blocked by the sweat or not in a good position to take a reading (when moving hands for example). I suggest you clean the back of your device with cotton and rubbing alcohol and restart it. Turn the heart rate off, save and sync then turn it on save and sync again. Also check these tips to improve the heart rate reading on your device.  Additionally you could use a sport band to remove excess sweat from the wrist area when you are exercising.

Let me know how it goes.
