No notifications not being received: calls, text messages, Facebook messages. These worked when I initially set up the Fitbit (a week ago) but stopped being received about a day after set up. I have followed all of the online instructions... now what?

Hi @stickaforkinthi What phone are you using? Is it on the Supported Devices List?
Try all the suggestions in THIS Help Article on troubleshooting notifications.

I am experiencing the same issue. Notifications worked flawlessly up until a couple of weeks ago. I've deleted and re-linked my Inspire HR to the Fitbit app twice and yesterday even did a hard reset of my phone.
I receive the notifications on the Fitbit once I turn the phone screen on, but they are not occurring in real time. I see that the Inspire HR is a paired device in my Bluetooth settings.
LG V30
Android 9
Fitbit v 3.10.1
I've already gone through the tips in this article to no avail.

A warm welcome to the Community, @genesisb86.
Thanks for troubleshooting this notifications issue. I would like to know if you have checked if your phone is a compatible mobile device? If you haven't, I recommend checking this by taking a look at our help article: Which phones and tablets can I use with my Fitbit watch or tracker?.
Let me know the outcome. 😉

Thanks for the update, @genesisb86.
Keep in mind that in order to have a successful connection between your tracker and phone, it needs to be a compatible mobile device.
When a device isn't compatible, it doesn't mean that it won't work with your tracker, but you might experience some connectivity issues. You can always try the instructions in the article: My Fitbit device isn't receiving notifications from my phone but I don't guarantee it will work 100%.
Let me know if you need anything else.

I am having the same issue.
It was working up until a few days ago. It is fully charged, compatible device that is fully updated. I have tried the trouble shooting with no help.
The only thing I have noticed is that even though the Bluetooth function appears to be on in my phone settings in the FitBit app it continues to tell me that they are not set up.

UPDATE on my issue:
My husband has a Pixel running Android 10 and a Fitbit Inspire. We swapped Fitbit devices so I could determine if it was a phone issue or a Fitbit issue... Turns out the Inspire works flawlessly with my LG V30 running Android 9, and the Inspire HR works flawlessly for my husband (not that he was having any issues with his Inspire to begin with).
I suspect that the Inspire HR doesn't like something in Android 9. I'm not sure if Fitbit can release a software update for the device or not, but for now, my husband and I have permanently swapped Fitbit devices.
Hopefully this info can help someone experiencing frustrations with their Inspire HR... Or at least nudge Fitbit into addressing the issue on their end.

My inspire HR on gives notifications sometimes. It’s really annoying. I’ve deleted the app and reinstalled it several times. I’ve gone in the app and turn notifications off, then synced, then turned them on, and synced again. Fitbit please help nothing works

I was having the same problem, and then saw that it might be the IOS 13.3 update on my IPhone. I went into the App store (app) and manually updated the Fitbit app. Now my notifications work again!

I had this same issue when I switched phones, I had no notifications coming through at all. Is you go to you Fitbit app and select the profile icon in the top left corner then in "devices" select the one you are currently using and make sure "all day sync" is turned on. Then select notifications and choose which you would like to turn on.

I purchased my Inspire HR almost one year ago. Notifications worked until about six weeks ago. Worked fine until then. This makes no sense to me. I have a Charge 2, which receives notifications. I prefer the Inspire HR since it's slimmer. I tried calling Fitbit, but they had no resolution to offer.

This happened to me too, about 6 weeks ago. I have tried everything suggested but to no avail. Bluetooth on/off. Restart Fitbit. Notifications on/off. Restart phone. Bluetooth pairing failed but it does sync. So must be paired?. Don’t know what to do next?
So frustrating.
