Inspire HR not receiving text notifications

I recently purchased an inspire hr and for some reason am not receding text notifications. I receive notifications for phone calls, so I’m not quite sure what is going on. I already tried removing the inspire from my account and then re-adding it, I’ve reset the inspire, I have reset the notifications in the app, and I’ve restarted my iPhone. I also have selected all three alerts in my notification settings on my phone. Is there anything else I could try?

THIS is the solution! I was having the same issue, tried EVERYTHING suggested and nothing worked. I was scrolling randomly looking for anything different to try. As soon as I turned on Notification Centre in my alerts, all 4 texts my husband had sent buzzed on my Inspire. Thank you 👍🏻

Where do you find your alerts?  I've looked in my notification centre...nothing.

Thanks for asking. I kept trying, without success, and eventually, for no reason, they gradually started appearing! All working as expected now.

I only have 5 days to figure it out before I can’t return it so maybe I’ll exchange it for another and not wait so long to try setting up this option. Wish me luck.

Ok, in settings go to notifications, scroll down to messages then it should look like this:4B66345B-E6C9-4E34-8A4C-5CACC8690703.png

This is what I have figured out. I have an iPhone as well and my situation is identical to yours. What I did and it started working was to turn everything on for message notifications through my phone setting. I turned on the Notification Center alerts for my messages. And it started to work. Try this.

Hi all,

Thank you for your information and ideas on the notifications.  

In addition to all this, if you are still not receiving notifications...there is a kind of a back door on the Inspire HR.

When you press and hold the button down...there are three options...Battery level, Screen Wake and Notifications.

 

Make sure the Notifications icon is turned on and not off.

Hi. Did you figure it out on your pixel 3? I've tried everything and still no text notifications.

Yes, I press and hold my button and a light bulb shows when I scrolled through this the last thing is notifications. I made sure that was on. As well I went into my fitbit app where I went into notifications and made sure they were on there too. So far its great!

Where's the lightbulb in notifications? Do you have the Google pixel 3?

I appreciate all the information and details that were shared in your posts, sorry for the difficulties experienced with the notifications feature on your Inspire series devices. If some of you haven't already done so, my best advise will be to check: How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device? to see that all the necessary requirements to receive notifications on your Fitbit devices are correctly configured. After verifying this, please try the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: My Fitbit device isn't receiving notifications from my phone and let me know how it goes.

 

Please make sure that your mobile device is compatible because due to a compatibility concern you can experience connection difficulties.

I deleted the app then reinstalled. Everything worked great after that.
