When I save an exercise retroactively, the exercise will show my heartrate during those times and record an estimated calorie count during that period. However, when I start an exercise as I'm doing it, the app won't record this. My heartrate will be recorded in the heartrate section, but not in the specific exercise. It'll tell me my pace, calories burned, distance and direction (though that's inaccurate because GPS isn't exact where I live), impact on my day's stats, rhythm, and time. All that fun stuff. Except for the heartrate.
If I try to save an exercise retroactively using the same time period, it'll save it in addition to my run, so I'll have to exercises of the exact same time and duration, but neither has the complete data.
How can I resolve this?

@BloodRedRose Welcome to the Fitbit Community! Sorry for the delay in my reply.
Let me help you with your Fitbit app not showing your heart rate on your recorded activities. Try logging out from the app, restart your phone and log back in. Also make sure that the app is up to date.
Let me know how it goes.
