Has anyone else experienced their Fitbit Inspire HR not recording sleep data? I’ve rebooted the device and the app. It has missed the last couple days. TIA

Hi @vegget. Welcome to the community forums.

Thank you for providing the details regarding the difficulty that you are experiencing with your Inspire HR and the steps that you already done in order to fix it.

I would like you to double check that your Inspire HR is set to "On Wrist". This is because when your tracker is set to "On Clip" certain features are turned off including heart-rate tracking.

In addition, try to perform the following steps:

  • If you slept in a position that prevented your device from getting a consistent heart-rate reading or wore it too loosely. For best results, wear your device higher on your wrist (about 2-3 finger widths above your wrist bone). The band should feel secure but not too tight.
  • If you used the Begin Sleep Now option in the Fitbit app (instead of simply wearing your device to bed). For more information on automatic sleep tracking, see How do I track my sleep with my Fitbit device?
  • If you slept for less than 3 hours.
  • If your device’s battery is critically low.
  • Please, confirm that you have restarted the device as indicated in this help article: How do I restart my Fitbit device?
