I am trying to set up an inspire hr to a computer and the fitbit connect does not include the inspire hr as a possible fitbit model to set up. Please help.

@InspireHRhelp Welcome to the Community. Thanks for the details mentioned.
It's pretty weird that Inspire HR isn't showing as an option on your computer. I would like you to uninstall Fitbit Connect and then install it once again. After this, please make sure you're following these tips to set up your Fitbit Inspire HR.
Keep me posted.

I have the exact same problem. I just got this Inspire HR from Amazon and am trying to use the FitBit Connect app on my desktop to set up the FitBit. However, after creating my account, verifying, etc and getting to the device setup, the Inspire/Inspire HR doesn't even show up as an option to select for setup. Literally every other FitBit device is in the list but there is no Inspire. I tried selecting the Alta since they seemed similar but it didn't work. I'm done messing with this thing and am returning it. I'll go back to using my (somewhat) smart watch. (Queue the "We're sorry to hear you're having problems with your device" replies from FitBit) which seems to be the only replies this thread gets (no solutions.)

@Privacyisfake It's nice to see you on the Community. Thanks for the details mentioned and the troubleshooting tried.
For the best experience, use the Fitbit app for iPhones and iPads or Android phones. You can also set up Inspire HR on Windows 10 devices. If you don’t have a compatible phone or tablet, use a Bluetooth-enabled Windows 10 PC. Keep in mind that a phone is required for call, text, calendar, and smartphone app notifications. Learn more about it by checking the Product Manual.
I'll be around if you have any additional questions.

I have the same problem. I have had my fitbit for a while now, and usually use my phone. Phone was lost recently, taking forever to get my new one sent, so i thought I could use Fitbit Connect for Mac until then.
I have restarted my fitbit, my computer, and in/un/re-installed Fitbit connect SEVERAL times. Fitbit connect does not show any of the inspire products as an option.

@Dmec I see that you are a long time Fitbit user. When you joined Fitbit, trackers could be set up using Fitbit Connect on your computer. Device requirements have changed. If you have a Bluetooth LE enabled PC running Windows 10, you use the Fitbit app for Windows 10. If you use a Mac, you need a compatible smartphone/tablet. The "modern" trackers and smartwatches aren't compatible with Fitbit Connect.

I ALSO cannot get Inspire HR as an option. I've watched all the Youtubes and tutorials. 4 hours, no results.
Life is too short for this frustration. I had to go for a long walk to reduce the anxiety this caused. Can't tell you how far I walked.........no fitbit!!!
Back to Best Buy tomorrow for refund 😡

Welcome to the community!
You need to install the Windows 10 Fitbit App, not Fitbit Connect. If you go to fitbit.com/setup, pick Windows 10, not PC. Basically:
The Windows 10 Fitbit app does have an option for the Inspire HR, see?:
I hope this helps.

What about MACs? The Versa 3 isnt showing up on the list, in fact there are no Versas showing up?

Hello @AshAmin and welcome to the Help forums. The Versa 3 doesn't show up on the Fitbit Connect list, because it isn't compatible with Fitbit Connect. It requires a compatible Android or iPhone.

So, I'm thinking I will return the Inspire. So frustrated. I bought it and it does not show up on my MAC or my android. I have the alta HR and it shows up fine. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled. No luck. Can I just call it an Alta and still use it? This is kind of ridiculous

Same here and none of the tips work. Ready to just trash the device as not worth the money, it shouldn't be this hard.
