I’m about to trade in my Fitbit for an Apple Watch. I’ve been using Fitbit for years but it never fails within a couple years I have to trade up because of some defect. I train hard so maybe this is a requirement for all fitness trackers but I haven’t heard Apple Watch has the same issues. Anyone else experiencing the same issue? The battery holds a charge for shorter periods of time and my HR won’t even display which is a pretty significant feature for me.

Hi, welcome to the Fitbit Community forums, @TrishMae.
Thank you for all the information what you've provided regarding the inconvenience that you've been experiencing with your Inspire HR.
Before considering other options, I would recommend performing a restart and to follow all the instructions in this article to improve the accuracy of heart rate information, this has been useful to other users who have experienced something similar.
Regarding the battery of your device that is draining too fast, the battery can last up to 5 days; because battery life is affected by use and other settings, actual results may vary. Please make sure that you've followed the steps provided in this article to improve battery life.
Hope this helps, I'll be around.
