Inspire HR not showing on list of trackers to choose from

Trying to setup a new fitbit inspire HR on a mac. When asked  "Which fitbit tracker are you setting up?", there is no Inspire HR but all the other trackers are on the list.

I am having the same issue!  We purchased a FitBit Inspire HR for our daughter's 18th birthday today!  She is wanting to wear it ASAP and I cannot find the Inspire on the list of devices.  So frustrating!! She is going to be so disappointed when she wakes up and finds out that I was not able to get it connected!  COME ON FITBIT!  HELP!

I recieved the fitbit inspire HR as a Christmas gift. When I get to "Which fitbit are you setting up?" it is not on the list. This is very frustrating!

yep same issue here. How are we supposed to set this up if the app doesn't even know about the device? And why hasn't anyone from Fitbit responded here? I saw in another thread that they want you to use the app on your phone, but I don't want to do that. Why doesn't their stuff work???

Same problem here: Inspire HR not found among the listed trackers. Sitting here in front of my iMac computer and gritting my teeth.

I just finished chatting with tech support and there is no way to use iMac software with the Inspire. You need to use the phone app. When I told them I'd rather not, they said too bad. They were happy to let me return it. They know it doesn't work, and they apparently don't care.

Thank you very much, sapshasnyder, for your reply. I spent hours trying to make this work on my Mac. My husband got the Fitbit for me as a holiday gift.  Best Buy Geek Squad guys assured him it would work with the Mac I bought from them. We are returning the unFITBIT tomorrow.  I'm fed up with Fitbit.
