Hi all,
I’ve been logging several pilates sessions in my fitbit inspire HR but no Active minutes are recorded. Active minutes are fully recorded when i log a yoga session, for instance, or automatically recognised after a walk. Further, I have a very different average HR between each pilates session (89bpm in one and 102bpm in another one) and the calories are always showing the same (145, which seems a bit low to me). My fitbit and app are up to date. Any ideas as to how to fix this?
thanks!

@Roberta1212 A warm welcome to the Fitbit Community. Thanks for the details mentioned.
You'll earn active minutes through 10 minutes or more of continuous moderate-to-intense activity.
Because our trackers primarily track movement through the use of an accelerometer, they more accurately detect active minutes for step-based activities (brisk walking, running) than non-step based activities or activities that require more than steps (yoga, tennis). Trackers with a heart rate monitor detect active minutes most accurately, since heart rate data allows us to better estimate caloric burn and, in turn, exercise intensity.
As a recommendation you may want to manually log the activity in order to be awarded for the active minutes done. Manually logged activities override your tracker's data. Sometimes users report a decrease in active minutes after logging an activity, which can occur if what your tracker recorded was more intense than what you logged.
Let me know how it goes. I'll be around if you have any additional questions.

@Roberta1212 Thank you for getting back. I appreciate the details mentioned.
Your Fitbit tracker recognizes and awards active minutes when the activity you're doing is more strenuous than regular walking, which includes everything from a brisk walk to a cardio workout or run. The more calories you burn the higher your total active minutes. Your tracker will start recognizing active minutes for at least 10 minutes at a time, green spikes on your calorie graph typically indicate that you’re earning active minutes.

@Roberta1212 When logging an activity, the data will be overridden however keep in mind that the data will change depending on the data entered. For example if you log Pilates and enter 300 calories burned for 30 minutes, it will show active minutes because it will notice an increase of calories burned during that time. However if you burn 100 calories burned for 30 minutes, it means that the activity wasn't intense enough to earn active minutes.
