Inspire HR not showing the correct timezone

2 days ago my Inspire HR changed time to +5 hrs. Right now is 8:20 am and my Fitbit says 1:20. I tried and went to my Dashboard and is on the right time zone (EST / Florida).

What can I do?

I checked on You tube and even though I turned it off and in it went back to same time.

Thanks!!!

Accepted Solutions

I also have the same problem since yesterday. I don't know what changed.

Tried all the solutions to date. Still not working correctly.

Reset the fitbit

Uninstalled and reinstalled the app

Checked time and location on android device

App set to:  ”use network provided time”

Disconnected (forget) Bluetooth device and reconnected

Fitbit was found

Attempted to resync using the app (Sync Now option)

App displays last sync time (as before this process started) and not immediate time

Fitbit time still wrong

Appears that Sync Now is not working on demand

Further update to the above:

The app is being updated with sleep stats from the Fitbit

App still displays last sync time (as before this process started) and not immediate time; app continues to display “Sync Now gathering your data”

Fitbit time still wrong

This suggests that the Fitbit and app are connected but the last sync time and Fitbit time are not being updated

Summary of chat with Julian of Customer Support:

Having reviewed the above information he asked what devices we are using for the app.

Ans: Moto G5 Plus phone and Samsung Type A 10”’ tablet.

He stated that neither are on the list of their tested devices.

I stated that there are thousands of both in use.

I stated that for over a year my Fitbit and my not tested phone and tablet have synced. Something happened overnight on Thursday Dec 18 2020.

I have attempted all of the proposed solutions on this forum without success.

The recommendation from Julian is to obtain a device on their tested list!

After speaking to a representative we performed the following:

(From memory of the call)

Turn Bluetooth off

Turn off location for the app

Reset the Fitbit

Turn on location for the app

Turn on Bluetooth

Connect to the Fitbit

In the app, “set up a device”

Choose your device

Select “replace”

Select your device

Enter the provided pin number

May take a while to configure

Device synced automatically

Time corrected!

Great job Lizetth
