Inspire HR not syncing with Galaxy S10+

So, I too am having a major problem syncing my inspire HR to my galaxy s10+.  When I first received the device, I set it up with a little bit of frustration, but it wasn't too bad.  It paired, synced, tracked everything it was supposed to.  This lasted for about 4 days, then I woke up and the fitbit was displaying time that was 4 hours and 2 minutes fast.  That was two days ago, and since then, I have not been able to sync or pair the device.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled the fitbit app too many times to count, restarted the device, cycled the bluetooth, done everything that all the troubleshooters have said to do and it never works.  I am disappointed to say the least, particularly due to the fact that I bought the device to participate in a competition through work, and now I won't be able to participate.  I'm going to have to return it, because I did get a good discount through work for the device, but if I don't participate, I have yo pay full price. So it is being returned. It's really mind boggling how this company could sell a device that works so poorly.  I have about a dozen or so other blue tooth devices and they all work flawlessly, even the cheap Chinese throwaway products ( like an fm radio adapter for the car.)

@misterobot, welcome to the Fitbit Community! I hope you're doing well!

Let me help you with your Inspire HR not syncing with your phone and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. If you still have the device you can try the following:

  • Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  • Restart your phone and restart your device
  • Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
  • You can find additional suggestions here.

Let me know how it goes.

So I was able to re-pair the device to my phone, I had to completely wipe the Inspire HR, then start from scratch.  I'm wondering if I should avoid letting the battery drain all the way out, which happened at work the day it wouldn't sync.  I'm giving it one more chance, because I really want to participate in the challenge at work. Hope it works out.

Hey, here's an update.  What I had to do was completely erase all data on the Fitbit, like a factory reset.  I also stopped using the app "fit to fit" which transfered data into Google fit.  I haven't had any problems since then.  I also have not let the battery go below 25%.  Fingers crossed.
