Inspire HR not syncing with Samsung Galaxy A54

Just got off a support chat, but their solution is to clear my data off the Fitbit. I want to avoid this until I've tried absolutely everything. Any help is appreciated!

Can't sync my Inspire HR with my Samsung Galaxy A54 as of Monday evening (12/23/24, about 5 PM EST).

I've tried:

  • Rebooting both the Fitbit and phone
  • Reinstalling the app
  • Adding it as a new device
  • Trying a different phone
  • Force stopping the app
  • Airplane mode on/off
  • Bluetooth on/off
  • Updating the app
  • Updating my phone's security patches
  • Turning off battery saver
  • Turning mobile data off (only using Wi-Fi)

Nothing has worked, I'll swipe down from the top of the app and get an endless "syncing your data" message with the spinning circle. Syncing manually also doesn't work.

Plugging in the Fitbit and trying to add as a new device briefly syncs it enough to update the battery level, but it doesn't update anything else.

Earlier today, I got a Discord notification on the Fitbit, which is something that I've never set up before, but proves the phone is seeing the Fitbit and it should be syncing. Support didn't know why this happened.

So, I installed an older version of the Fitbit app, and that synced my steps/distance from today, but nothing else. After this, I ended up updating to the current version and clearing the Fitbit's data, but now it's not connecting at all.

No luck as of yet. I'm very salty because I'm missing out on my data transferring to Pokemon Go and Sleep...
